I learned what Fiat Money is....money made out of thin air! That's incredible! They actually make more money to cover the all ready trillions of dollars in debt; and they charge the federal government interest for to do this! Its crazy! Just insane! I am hopping mad! Furious! I can't believe such a system exists and is tolerated by thinking people in modern society. Who in their right mind, if they knew, would put up with such a monetary system of private banks backed by government. I thought the way the video was presented was excellent! A little bit understated perhaps but the point was made. I think we have enough smart people around to come up with a better system than what we have right now. Surely, we could eliminate the Federal Reserve tomorrow, if not sooner. It is a bunch of rich, greedly, powerhungry people -- just sticking it to us for a 100 years! Stop the madness -- stop it now!! 1

The Federal Revenue System looks like one big pyrimid scheme. It seems our money is almost if not already worthless, and it makes me realize why we are in the state we are in today.

I found the documentary that I just watched to be extremely interesting and informative. The views expressed and the information brought to light in the video were very thought-provoking and brought up many interesting points. For instance, I found it to be very alarming that the Federal Reserve can just produce money right out of thin air, as if it were a magician. I also found it to be very upsetting how the lower and middle class, who are often the ones simply just trying to get by, are the ones that suffer the most from the system currently set up. As the video continued, these facts really stuck with me and made me question if what is in place now is truly in the best interest of the American people. The system that we are presently seems to be seriously flawed, and changes need to be made immediately to better serve the people of the United States. It is deeply disturbing that this system has has even gotten this far and has been in place so long since it is completely unconstitutional and completely goes against what our Founding Fathers wished to have established. Changes must be made now to prevent any further damage, and save our monetary unit of the dollar.

This video gave me a new perspective on the federal reserve. I had no idea it was sort of a head bank of the government. Even though I didn't know about the subjects in the video prior to watching it, it doesn't surprise me that our government would run the country right into the ground. Politicians in this country just tell one lie after another. Your local politicians tend to be the most honest...maybe it's just lack of experience.

Before watching this video I didn't really know anything about the Federal Reserve System. Now that I have watched the video I feel more informed about how system as a whole runs. I didn't know that the system run against what the founding fathers wrote into our Constitution. I also didn't know that banks would lend out money and let you withdraw money that they don't have the funds to cover. To me this almost seems like our currency means nothing. Our currency needs to be backed by something. It is apparent when looking at the way that our economy is now that it is a very unstable system. When you compare our dollar to say the British pound it is horrible to see how much our dollar is worth. There needs to be major things that are changed or our economy is going to completely collapse. That is effect many lives and it doesn't seem like our government even is looking to fix this. The amount of national debt that we have is absolutely crazy and it doesn't look like it will ever get any better, at least not with the current system that we have in place.

Our constitution demands, as the supreme law of the land that gold and silver be used as a means of tender for payment of debts, rather than paper money. In fact, all states were only to produce silver and gold money. The constitution is supposed to the highest law in our land and thus, all other laws, challenges to laws, new inspirations for business practice and money policy in general should, in essence, “bow the knee” to the constitution. In 1913 a banking system was developed that came to be known as the Federal Reserves system (FRS) which was made up of banks. The FRS was birthed on Jekyll Island off of the coast of George in secrecy. Seven men traveled in Senator Aldridge's train car. They would not even address each other by their given names. They went by code names or first names rather than last names. The men did not even want servants or anyone to know who they were, that they were together or what they were planning. It was I such secrecy that the FRS was born. The FRS was not an agency of the federal government nor is it proprietarily owned and operated by cooperate directives alone. Rather it is a hybrid made up of large banks in conspiracy with the government. It effect then, is a cartel, sanctioned by the government, made up of large banking corporations which created an agreement between each other, wherein they limit competition, preserve their profits and keep newcomers from invading their business. The government's sanctioning of the FRS was not a matter of benefit to the people of the USA but rather motivated out of personal gain and popularity with the voting populations. The personal governmental gain was that they could order money to be printed at will. Rather than having to raise taxes, a very unpopular requisition among the voting populace, they could simply borrow money from the FRS.

I have learned that even though freedom comes from freedom of speech and freedom of power does not mean education is a free choice in life.It is knowledge and knowledge is power. I have learned that I have much more to learn. That the general public does not have the faintest idea what is going on in our government. Although I realized that we did not literally have the gold/silver to back the paper money we use I ASSUMED that we had something to back it.

I was unaware that our paper money is actually worthless when compared to the silver and gold coins our founders used. I was also shocked to see how easily it would be for our monetary system to loose all value and even more shocked when I heard that the government has the Reserve to print money on a demand business. This video has shown me how easily our country could become dependent on an international currency. I found the video very interesting and even watched it twice and told my husband all that I had learned. Dr. Pierre, I think that was his name, was very enjoyable to listen to. I wouldn't mind sitting though a class or two if he were the instructor. He was very insightful and informative.

I have done some research on income tax and came up with the same concept as in this film, as with federal taxes we are paying the goverments debt. They keep spending and giving money away since it costs them nothing to do it. I followed Ron Paul and will write in his name in the presidential election, since he is one of very few men qualified to run this country. We must stop these crooks ruining our country, we need to wake up and over throw this Reserve System, which in actuality according to the constitution is not even legal. We must fight to get our constitution back and get rid of all the crooks in the white house. We need to go back to our roots and WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

I have learned that the Federal Reserve violates the U.S. constitution. The Federal Reserve is a hybrid or partnership between the government and private banks. In reality the Federal Reserve is a cartel. The goal of the Federal Reserve is to limit competition, keep profits and keep their positions. Jefferson warned people about banks and corporations. The majority of people do not understand the intentions of the founding fathers. Also, the Federal Reserve was formed on Jekyll Island in secret. In addition, I learned that the mass media does not ever talk about the Federal Reserve System. I learned that there would be no income tax if there was no Federal Reserve System.Furthermore, I learned that we have a Fiat Money System. Money is created out of nothing and is just paper. There is no gold or silver to back the paper money. Some experts suggest we try a gold system in local towns to see if they would work. If successful, the gold system would then expand to states and nationally. I learned a lot of information about the Federal Reserve. I learned that you can not trust what the mass media says because it is controlled by corporations.

I am a young adult, just starting out on my own and coming to know the reality and responsibility that I have acquired. This film was very relevant to the current circumstances in life, that I have had to struggle to make sense of and contend with. This was very thought provoking and I find myself compelled to examine and contemplate the concepts of intrinsic value in relation to ethical standards as a basis of human transactions on all levels of existence. Following the lines of cause and effect and find that the value of the monetary unit going down,inflation creates a hidden tax down the line, as we pay more for items that are produced at a lower quality, yet somehow the this is what keeps the world going around. (?) After giving this all some thought, if I were to flip a coin, I would bet that both head and tails is void, 2 sides of the same coin... (kept spinning around) The Federal Reserve statuary system, contrite to the Supreme Law of the land, the founding constitution from which we stand, one nation, under god, with liberty and justice for all...

What I had never heard before was the Federal Reserve referred to and compared to a cartel. Now I went and looked that word up and it scared me to think that that is the type of system we have in place. I knew about the creation of the Fed, and the subsequent diminished gold standard until there was none, but I did not understand how inflation was created and like most Americans, I think, I did not understand that higher prices were the result of inflation and not the actual inflation.

From the video, I learned that the Federal Reserve is not really controlled by the government; as a matter of fact, it appears to be the other way around. I learned that the Fed practically has a license to print money. As a result, money becomes more and more worthless, and the average American citizen suffers because of it. This film has impacted my opinions, in that I don't feel very hopeful about the future. The reason for this is that in order to fix the problem, citizens would have to become educated and politicians would have to be willing to get rid of the Fed and re-institute the gold standard. Since citizens would rather watch American Idol than exert themselves in thought, and politicians stand to win elections as long as they borrow from the Fed, I don't see the situation improving anytime soon.

I learned about how the value of the dollar is controlled by the federal reserve. It's also controlled by the amount of lending that the banks do. My opinion is that we should lose the fiat system, but I think it's also important to make what ever we can in the U.S, keep jobs here and to buy American goods. I think that Government spending should be decreased by not fighting expensive and unnecessary wars. I think that Government programs that help people in need should be given all the help they can. There are many things we can change to create a more stable economy. Stability should be the goal, not necessarily strength. Strength comes with stability.

This video shows exactly what the tyranny of banking accomplishes, the destruction of the American Ecconomy. Though I imagine that your goal is strictly non-socialist and that you stand against any notion of "collectivization", I think we share an element of belief in that we believe that big businessmen in their make-money-with-money tactics are decidedly wrong. How far we are willing to go, and in which direction we place the blame in that argument means little. what matters is that this Central bank usery must be stopped, and Socialist and Austrian-School alike, we must learn to overcome the opressive big banks before it is too late.

Fiat money issued by the Federal Reserve is actually working in favor of some parties such as the holders of voting power in the Fed system. However it does not work in favor of the average citizen. The existance of the federal reserve system and fiat money backed by almost nothing is against the constitution and should be scrutinized. The monetary systems of the world is no different either.

The federal government is caught in an endless loop of borrowing and spending. They borrow from one hand and do not have the resources to pay it off. There is an elite group that controls the wealth of the country. No one knows who this group is. However, the system is not perfect and never will be. The original writers of the constitution really wanted the country not to swamped by massive debts and would have been highly disappointed in the way the country is now run. Still it is the stability and economic growth that makes this country great. If the process were to be understood by the masses then the voting might be a lot different than it is now.
